Going for Response, Minimizing Branding



Big companies have reversed their marketing strategies in light of the down economy. Every where you look, there are articles on the new strategy to implement response (e..g. leads) marketing and minimize outright branding effort.

For small companies, the strategy should always be one of response. Branding is too expensive, can't be measured and just not appropriate for small companies.

By the way, every company inherently has a brand. Do you know what your brand is and how you are communicating it?
